Emergency Services – Distress Call Response Management System
Trinity has developed and implemented this system suitable for Police, Fire and Ambulance Services. The DCRMS is an automated System that facilitate dispatch of the nearest available Patrol Vehicle / Ambulance to the scene of distress, reduces response time and provides total visibility of operation.
The Major Components of the DCRMS Solution are:
- PSTN Gateway - facilitates Voice Communication between Dispatcher/ Call Taker and external network (PSTN, PABX, GSM.) subscribers.
- Call Taker System - is built around a Personal Computer with necessary accessories like microphone-headset or IP phone. A call taker system attends the distress call and collects called ID with address. It also collects additional information, if needed, from the caller.
- Despatcher Work Station - is built around a Personal Computer. The system is provided with desk microphone-headset or IP phone. The Dispatcher Workstation provides support for Text and Voice communication.
- GIS Server - is built around a server class machine. This stores the Global Information System map of the city containing all details including roads, buildings, water bodies and key landmarks. It also stores the location information of all Land Line Telephone subscribers. Once the caller ID is detected the GIS server searches the database and gives the latitude and longitude of the caller. This helps the Dispatcher/ Call taker to plot the location in the Digital map.
