Trinity’s flagship solution in Vehicle Tracking and Fleet Management System- Trinity SkyTrack, reports the position of a vehicle to a home base where the location of the vehicle can be plotted on a GIS map. This is provided as a cost effective Web-based service to fleet owners and logistics organizations to monitor and manage their vehicle movements. The system works on an ASP model as a web based subscription service.

Further, the system can be used to locate a vehicle and plot its position on a map so that it may be located or its path traced.

The applications for a vehicle tracking and fleet management system are numerous. For instance, police agencies could use the system to track the location of their officers so that they may be dispatched to the closest location of offences. Individuals could have their cars protected against theft. Public Transport Companies could also use this application to monitor their fleet and derive relevant Passenger information that can be disseminated to buses and bus stops.

The Microprocessor-based control electronics module of the system can be customized to measure other physical parameters based on client requirements. E.g. speed of the vehicle, time and distance traveled, fuel level, load factor for cargo vehicles or liquid level for tankers. it can also log and transmit events such as opening of a cargo compartment or tanker lid.
